Signature turns 30!
Signature has come a long way in the last 30 years! As some of you will know Gary and Shelley started their journey in the Blind industry as reps for Hillarys after having their first daughter back in 1992 because Shelley didn’t want to return to her previous job.
Since then the company has continued to go from strength to strength. In 2003 they opened the showroom in Pemberton which operated with only 4 members of staff! In 2015 Gary and Shelley went solo buying out Harmony Blinds with Shelley and Kate running the Showroom and Gary and Arron surveying and installing the blinds.
The company went into the manufacturing of Window Blinds after years of disappointment and frustration of being let down by suppliers, the worst part was that it was the reputation of the company on the line. Signature wanted to have control of the quality and turnaround to stop the disappointment for our customers and us. Over the next 4 years the company began to manufacture Verticals, Rollers and Perfect fit.
In 2019 a business decision was made to change the name of the company from Harmony to Signature! The company also began to supply to Trade aswell as retail and in 2020 a Survey and Fit service for trade was offered for Plantation Shutters.
By 2021 Signature doubled the workspace by taking on another unit which we moved into in 2022! Signature now supply and deliver to trade across the whole of the UK and Retail throughout the North west.
We decided to mark the occasion of our 30th birthday with a rebrand! We all love the new logo and can’t wait to hear what you think of it!
