Here at Professionals of Wigan (POW), we’re delighted to once again co-organise the Wigan Borough Business Awards 2025, alongside our incredible partners Fubhub and digital experts ATTAIN. This year’s awards promise to be the ultimate celebration of business excellence within the Wigan Borough, and we couldn’t be more excited to play our part in bringing this iconic event to life.

The Wigan Borough Business Awards have quickly become a highlight of the local business calendar, and the 2024 event truly set the stage for bigger and better things to come. Here’s a look back at some of the incredible highlights from last year’s celebration:

• 405 guests representing 81 local businesses came together for a spectacular evening of celebration.
• 27 winners were honoured for their outstanding contributions to business excellence.
• With the local support of 23 sponsors, 21 supporters, and 5 partners, the event showcased the power of community collaboration.
• £3,545 was raised for Wigan & Leigh Hospice, making a meaningful difference to a vital local charity.
• A remarkable 90,000+ reach on LinkedIn brought widespread awareness to the achievements of our local businesses.
